December 2007 News

• Tuffy (SBIS Ch. Bark & Dives JP Tuffy - out of Rafi and Twiggy - bred/owned by Kumiko Mogi) wins a Specialty Best in Show over 54 Salukis.  His sister Alisha wins Best Opposite Sex and other sister Ishtar wins Winners bitch the same day!   What a great day!   The family photo is below.

• We are thrilled to be the only breeder to have 3 Salukis (Tara, Rami and Prophet) qualify for the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship show - in order to qualify, you must be ranked as one of the top 25 Salukis in the Nation or have won a Best in Show.

November 2007 News

• Luna (Bark & Dives JP Baha Luna of Khiva, JC - out of Rafi and Twiggy - bred by Kumiko Mogi and owned by Caroline Coile) wins Best Opposite Sex, Best of Winners and Winners Bitch at the Central Florida Association of Saluki Hounds supported entry for a 5 point major!  The win photo is below:

• Rami (Multiple SBIS Ch. Khiva's Rami Rasil) wins a Group 3 and Group 4 at the very competitive Ohio shows.

• Prophet (Ch. Khiva’s Prophet of Baha CD, FCh, JOR - owned by Caroline Coile) wins a Group 3 on the Florida circuit.

• Ivory (Aust. Ch. Lamaan Ifori - bred/owned by Stephen Wailes and Dennis Nylund - out of Rafi and Millie), wins Best In Show at the Saluki Club of Victoria (Australia).  This was the 30th Anniversary Championship show with an entry of 74 (the largest in Australia for several years)!   Zoldee (Lamaan Isolda) (Ivory's sister owned by Rosemary Gallagher) was awarded 2nd in her class behind Ivory. • Sasha (Ch. Khiva's Sasha Kishon) won an Award of Merit at the San Angeles Saluki Club show (entry of 78 Salukis)!  The win photo is below.

• Tuffy (Ch. Bark & Dives JP Tuffy - out of Rafi and Twiggy - bred/owned by Kumiko Mogi) was awarded BOS at the Japanese Saluki Specialty with an entry of 70 Salukis!  Ishtar was awarded Reserve Winners Bitch and Trinity Award of Merit. • At the biggest dog show in Asia (entry of 3027), Tuffy (Ch. Bark & Dives JP Tuffy - out of Rafi and Twiggy - bred/owned by Kumiko Mogi) won Best of Breed (entry of 62 Salukis) and a Hound Group 2!  Also, Alisya (a sister owned by Yae Kawahara) won Winners Bitch and completed her Japanese Championship!  Below is the win photo.

• Ivory (Lamaan Ifori - bred/owned by Stephen Wailes and Dennis Nylund - out of Rafi and Millie), wins Best of Breed and first Junior in Group.  The same weekend, she won another Best of Breed, Junior in Group and then Best Junior in Show!!! 

• Opal (Lamaan Iesin of Khiva) wins Best of Breed over several specials!  This was her 2nd weekend being shown!

February 2007 News

• Rami (Multiple SBIS Ch. Khiva's Rami Rasil) wins another Specialty Best in Show (over 67 Salukis) at the Central Arizona Saluki Association Specialty!

• Sasha (Ch. Khiva's Sasha Kishon) wins Winners Bitch (over 28 bitches) at the Central Arizona Saluki Association Specialty to complete her AKC championship!  This was her fourth major!
